IRIS M. VINCENT ​

God gives us what we need as we venture through life; painting for enjoyment and the challenge to express myself with color draws me into Abstract, Nature and Floral Subjects”.  Iris pursued private art lessons and attended art workshops to explore painting techniques. Later she enrolled at MAC for Fine Art in the Senior Scholar Program in Drawing, Color Theory, Printmaking and Painting Classes for twelve semesters.
​Iris’ art has placed in Best of Shows, Judges Choice and several 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in many art competitions. She is an active member, past President, and past Vice President of the Ste Genevieve Art Guild, former volunteer art teacher at Valle Elementary K-4 also for 5th & 6th  for several years. One of five founders of the Ste Genevieve Adult Plein Air Event, and co-founder with Angie Dalton of the Valle Schools Youth Plein Air. She is also founder/instructor of the Youth Summer Art Camp held in June. Iris’ work is available at Galleria Ste Gen and at the Ste Genevieve Winery in SGAG displays
