ANITA ALSUP

Anita considers Art Guild co-founder Betty Geraghty her art life mentor. 
Following a 14 years of doing art decoration in homes and businesses she took an oil painting workshop with James Wilson, and he encouraged her to join the senior scholar program at Mineral Area College. Anita found his ability to teach was very influential in the skills she learned.
She has been painting in her home studio since 2013, and has paintings and print items displayed for show and sale at Charleville Winery.
Anita won Best of Show in the 2018 Presbyterian Manor competition involving all 17 Manors in Kansas and Missouri.
