Education Programs

Through a grant from the Bayer Fund Rural Community Arts Fund Program in September of 2019, the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild has been able to offer art classes to members of the community who lack the opportunity for art instruction.  Beginning September 9, 2019, a weekly one-hour class has been conducted for a private school and area homeschooled children ages 6 through 16.  Each class is part of a curriculum planned and taught by state-certified instructors who are also Art Guild members.

In 2020, as our facility capabilities expand, the Art Guild will be offering additional classes to the public for children and adults, as well as a special "Summer School of Art" celebrating our connection to the Ste. Genevieve Art Colony's Summer School of Art that thrived in the mid-1930s.  Watch for more information.
