CAROLINE THOMPSON

Caroline Thompson is an abstract expressionist oil painter and teacher. She lives in Cape Girardeau, new to the region, but is native of Kennett. Her art career began in Boulder Colorado 20 years ago where she had solo installations at the University of Colorado and the Dairy Art Center, Boulder's premiere art destination.  She lived in Franklin/Nashville for 2 years before moving to Cape Girardeau, where she was active in First Fridays in Franklin; taught workshops at Williamson County Enrichment Center, which included a solo exhibition of 37 pieces at the Enrichment and Performing Arts Centers. She will host First Fridays beginning in May 2019 at Caroline Thompson Studio and Gallery, in Cape.
